Qigong: Exploring the Twelve Rivers An 8-Week Series to Cultivate Vital Energy Thursdays, 7-8 AM | June 26–August 14 $160 for 8-week series | $24 drop-in (if space allows) At Freeport Mind-Body Fitness Qigong (pronounced chee-gung) is an ancient mind-body practice that integrates gentle, flowing movement, breathwork, self-massage, and intention to support vitality, emotional balance, and inner harmony. Rooted in Chinese medicine and philosophy, Qigong invites us to slow down, listen inward, and move with purpose. In this 8-week series, we’ll explore the Twelve Rivers Sequence—a graceful, energizing, and meditative flow designed to nourish the organ systems and stimulate the body’s energy pathways. Each session builds on the last, offering a steady rhythm of practice that supports both physical wellness and energetic alignment. This low-impact series is accessible to all levels.
